Steven Mandel, M.D.
Dr. Steven Mandel is an American Board of Radiology Certified Diagnostic Radiologist with a subspecialty expertise in Neuroradiology. Dr. Mandel earned his undergraduate degree in 1976 at Syracuse University with a B.S. in Biology. He then went on to receive his Medical Degree in 1980 from The Autonomous University Guadalajara.
Dr. Mandel completed his postgraduate Internship 5th Pathway in 1981 at Brookdale Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and completed his Residency Program in 1985 at the University Hospital, (S.U.N.Y.) Stony Brook School of Medicine in Stony Brook, New York. He was also elected Associate Chief Resident at Stony Brook School of Medicine from 1985-1986. Dr. Mandel then went on to complete his Fellowship Program in Neuroradiology/Neuro MRI in 1987 at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Upon completion of his training, Dr. Mandel relocated to Tampa, Florida, where he joined SDI Radiology. Dr. Mandel is a member of several profession societies including the American College of Radiology, American Medical Association, American Board of Radiology, American Society of Neuroradiology, Florida Medical Association, Florida Radiological Society, and Radiological Society of North America.
