SDI Diagnostic Imaging at Oldsmar offers a full range of diagnostic
imaging services and features Open MRI and a new Helical
Multidetector CT
with an advanced 3D workstation.
Imaging Services Offered at our
Oldsmar location:
CT scan
Toshiba Asteion Helical Multidetector CT, allowing ultra-thin section imaging and 3D or multiplanar
reconstruction for CT angiography, CT coronary calcium scoring, CT colonography (virtual
colonoscopy), CT urography and other applications.
MRI
Hitachi Airis II Open MRI, allowing acquisition of top quality images in an open system that can accommodate large or
claustrophobic patients and allow for special positioning when needed.
In addition to conventional MRI, MR angiography and MR
arthrography are also performed.
X-ray
High quality images for basic diagnostic needs as well as fluoroscopy (live video
x-ray) for exams such as barium studies of
upper and
lower
gastrointestinal tract or hysterosalpingogram.
Ultrasound
Siemens Acuson ultrasound unit for top quality Ultrasonography
and Color Doppler capabilities.
Mammography
Breast Cancer Screening and Diagnosis
Bone Densitometry (DEXA Scan)
