The latest addition to SDI's imaging network is
a 6,000 square-foot, state-of-the-art imaging center in the heart of
Tampa. Convenient to downtown Tampa and the St. Joseph's
Hospital medical community, the location offers a full range of
diagnostic imaging services.
Imaging Services Offered at our
Armenia location:
CT scan
Toshiba Aquilion Multi-detector CT has dramatically improved
clinicians' ability to accurately diagnose disease at an early
stage. It is a powerful diagnostic tool which can detect more than
X-rays. The Aquilion family of premium CT systems feature Toshiba's
proprietary Quantum detector technology.
MRI
EXCELART Vantage is a superconducting 1.5T
MRI system featuring Toshiba's patented Pianissimo™ technology,
which reduces acoustic noise by as much as 90 percent.
Further, the imaging technology allows clinicians
to perform exams in a single breath, reducing motion
artifacts and increasing image quality. Because the
magnet is also the world's shortest with the largest clinical
field-of-view, it provides patients a greater sense of openness.
X-ray
Quality images for basic diagnostic needs as well as low-dose digital fluoroscopy (live video
x-ray) for exams such as barium studies of
upper and
lower
gastrointestinal tract or hysterosalpingogram.
Ultrasound
GE Logiq delivers industry-leading ultrasound technology and
patient comfort.
Mammography
Digital breast cancer screening and diagnosis using the GE
Senographe. SDI Armenia's affiliation with St. Joseph's
Women's Hospital allows us to deliver comprehensive women's
imaging in a spa-like environment.
